Description
The Toshiba P300 HDWD120UZSVA is a 2 TB 3.5" desktop drive with a sensible balance of price and technology. 7200 rpm, 64 MB cache, SATA III and, importantly, conventional CMR recording. In the P300 series it is the 2 TB version that uses CMR, while the 4 and 6 TB versions are SMR. So the HDWD120 behaves consistently with small files and under long rewrites alike.
It works well as an all-round drive in a home PC: games, work projects, photos, regular backups. It is a desktop drive, so for 24/7 video recording or NAS choose a dedicated series.
